Arabesque Boutique Apartments is a distinctive concept in apartment living for Merida Centro. The project was conceived and built by the well known designers Roberto and Tonia Kimsey, formally of Sarasota, Florida and La Manzanilla, Jalisco, Mexico, for the German investor, Detlev von Armin. They have melded the Art Deco style exterior with the stylish elegance and relaxed comforts of French Country interiors.

Visitors have said that walking into any of the unique apartments gives the comfortable feeling the apartment “is wrapping it’s arms around you”. The source of this delightful feeling is the partnership of meticulous planning and superb interior design. Each apartment is light and airy, while, at the same time, warm and comforting. The apartments are filled with a relaxed combination of custom designed and antique furnishings, all locally made or purchased.

Each apartment is a showplace the resident will be proud to call home.

Arabesque apartments in Merida YucatanThe original structure Arabesque now occupies was built as a private home in Merida Centro circa 1915. It was constructed in the then very chic and popular Art Deco Style.

In 2009 the building was redesigned and remodeled into six boutique apartments: four of two-bedrooms each and two of one-bedroom each.

Every apartment is unique, and each has been carefully planned to give exquisite views of the beautifully landscaped tropical garden. This refreshing garden courtyard, complete with it’s 10 meter swimmable pool, has been carefully planned for the enjoyment of the residents and their guests.
